The main hall of the United Reform Church was packed for the 2017 Annual General Meeting which took place
on Wednesday 22nd November where Officers gave good news
on the financial standing and breath of activities undertaken,
together with their extensive pre-planning for 2018.

Chairman Bill gave thanks to the many Members
who so freely give of their time
to make our society such a success.

The current Officers in the positions of Secretary,
Show Manager, Trading Treasurer and Membership Secretary
were re-allocated for a further term unopposed.

Audrey White, through illness, retired as President and
Ron Duffield, the voice of calm and knowledge instated.
Audrey was thanked for her long term commitment and support,
presented with a large boquet and given all our best wishes.

A presentation was also made to Peggy Jackson
who has reluctantly chosen to retire after
over 40 years helping at the Trading Centre.
Both Chairman Bill and Centre Manager Peter Jackson
gave glowing tribute to her loyalty, reliability
and dedication to the Society.
